The UConn football team’s final home game of the season against East Carolina Nov. 23 will kick off at noon.

The game, which is the Huskies’ Senior Day, will be aired online only at ESPN3.

It also is the next game for UConn (2-8, 0-6 AAC), which idle this week. The Huskies finish the season the following Saturday at Temple. ECU is also winless in the AAC (0-6) and is 3-7 overall.

UConn offensive tackle Matt Peart has been invited to two prestigious all-star games, the Shrine Bowl and the Senior Bowl.

A 6-foot-7, 303-pound senior from Kingston, Jamaica, Peart has a good chance of being selected in the upcoming NFL draft.

Peart has played in each of the Huskies’ last 46 games and was a starter in all of them.

He started all 12 games for the Huskies in the 2016, 2017 and 2018 seasons, and has done so in each of the first 10 games this season.

The Shrine Bowl is Jan. 18 in St. Petersburg, Florida. The Senior Bowl is Jan. 25 in Mobile, Alabama.
