Carolyn Jankoski Heine, 90, was born in New Britain in 1939, attended local schools, and graduated from New Britain Senior High School in 1949. After graduation from CCSC she taught school at Holy Cross and Sacred Heart during the 1960s. She married Alfred Heine in 1951, a New Britain Police Officer who predeceased her in 2017 at the age of 87. She had one son, Randolph Heine. In 1969 she moved to Pinellas Park, Fla., with her husband and son and became a stay-at-home housewife. She peacefully passed away on September 6 and leaves a loving son Randolph. She wanted everyone to know that she loved growing up in New Britain and that she had a wonderful life with no regrets. Her remains will be placed next to her beloved husband Alfred at the Bay Pines Military Cemetery in St Petersburg, Fla.
