To The Editor:

On November 5th the voters of New Britain will go to polling districts to elect other citizens to lead this City. I encourage them to cast a solid vote for the Stewart Team on Row B.

I seek a 4th term as Alderman At Large. I have been proud and honored to serve my community with Mayor Erin Stewart since 2013.

This city has seen a shift from an inherited $30 million deficit, to five consecutive years of balanced budgets, Grand List increases, a 4 level increase to an A+ bond rating, a budget necessary $18 million surplus, and the lowest unemployment rate in ten years.

This Stewart Administration has been daring, creative and innovative, from numerous arts projects such as the Bees sculptures, the Beehive bridge, the Summer Concert series, to the Farmers Market in Central Park. Over 75 new businesses, over 750 new jobs in restaurants, clothing stores, Classic auto and repair businesses, two breweries, manufacturing, aerospace, expanded establishments at Herald Square and John Downey Drive. The Energy Innovation Park Fuel Cell Project is a crowning economic development jewel with a Spring 2020 launching, housed at Stanley/Black & Decker, a $1 billion project and tax revenues of $40 million and 3000 new, great paying jobs.

I believe we are the Leadership We Need. I ask for your vote and for your support.

Daniel M. Salerno
